The resort’s 71 new three-bedroom, self-contained villas can sleep up to six people and feature two bathrooms, large living and dining area and a kitchen, no more than a couple of minute’s walk from Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley’s many dining and recreational facilities. In addition, all three-bedroom villas have two terraces, all the modern technology to get you connected and three large TVs – great to watch the extensive movie library on.
Perfect for summer, the hotel, which sits on its own 18-hole golf course, features a huge outdoor pool with plenty of lounging space. For a break, the kids are properly taken care of at the free Water Dragons Kids Club which is open daily.
“Our new three-bedroom villas will set us apart from other resorts and hotels in wine country as we take hotel accommodation to another level offering groups and families more options, greater space and privacy,” said hotel business development director, Caroline Lyttle.
For groups and couples looking to indulge, the Tea Tree Spa has also recently launched its VIP Spa and Spa Sanctuary suites. The VIP suite, with its two treatment beds, huge luxury spa bath and own change room and large ensuite, is the perfect place for two people to spend that extra time indulging themselves. The Sanctuary Spa Suite caters for groups of two to eight, making it ideal for a lady’s day, bridal parties or couples wanting to really indulge. Offering up to four treatment beds, an infrared sauna, spa bath, a luxury shower and separate changing and relaxation areas, spa lovers best be prepared to lose themselves for a day.
The hotel’s pool, tennis and basket ball courts, gym and games room ensure there is plenty for the active holiday maker to participate in. Staying in and chilling out at night is made more attractive by an extensive movie library accessible through the large LCD televisions in the spacious villas – great for the kids while mum and dad enjoy dinner.
In addition to Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley’s Redsalt and star anise restaurants, the body and soul in-room dining menu is loaded with healthy and traditional meals. For something different however, order a BBQ anywhere in the grounds; hotel staff will deliver a portable BBQ to your chosen location and clean it away when you’re done.
The Grapevine Bar, overlooking the greens and pool, is open all day for food – including gourmet pizzas – wine, cocktails and a selection of over 60 beers from the Hunter and around the world. Alternatively, Vista Lounge, the hotel’s cocktail and whisky bar is open well into the night for those wanting to kick on.
For couples and smaller groups, Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley has a selection of deluxe hotel rooms and two bedroom villas, each with their own private balcony or courtyard. Stay in a three bedroom villa from midweek from $333 and weekends from $513 a night.
