Its not over yet

Victorias snowfields have had a big winter and the conditions are still excellent for spring skiing, says Jim Darby.

Its the fourth day of spring and Im driving into Mount Hotham from the Dinner Plain, or Gippsland, side. Looking up along Swindlers Valley towards Mount Loch, the ski field reads like a book, with its spurs and gullies and faces folding like pages into the long spine of a valley.
