Kids Cooking Class at Hilton

My Little Hilton GINORMOUS Festive Cooking Class

Ice, sprinkle, dip and dust all things yummy with the My Little Hilton GINORMOUS cooking class, this festive season.

The ever popular festive cooking class has returned for another exciting year and promises to be GINORMOUS! The festive class traditionally sells out early in the year, so the hotel is aiming to attract over 100 children; making it Brisbane’s largest cooking class. Joining in the fun will be the hotels nominated charity, the Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland.

One of the activities on the morning will include making as many gingerbread possible to reflect the number of children who are diagnosed with leukaemia each year in Queensland.

Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland CEO, Mr Peter Johnstone said, “Sixty children are diagnosed with leukaemia in Queensland every year. This is a devastating reality for many families however with the extensive research now being done 80% of children are surviving a diagnosis and going on to live a normal life.”

“Hilton’s commitment to raising funds and awareness of children’s leukaemia is a wonderful example of how businesses can work with community organisations and make a difference.”

“The children’s Christmas cooking class is a fabulously festive way to have fun with your kids while supporting a great Queensland charity,” Mr Johnstone said.

Participants will have the opportunity to make their very own culinary delights. The class is open for children aged between 5 and 15.

All children participating on the day will receive a special lunch and take home their own creations, recipe book and Chef’s hat and apron.
