According news articles that are breaking out, it looks like the Red Bull Air Race has been cancelled worldwide including Perth WA. This is great shame for Western Australia Tourism, which has hosted the event before. No doubt there will be some some very disappointed families that had planned to vist the event.
Reason for the cancellation looks like its a primary safety concern, but the cynic in me makes me stop to think of the cost it must be run such an event and the insurance expenses that would come with such an event! Could this also be a another reason?
