By making a donation to Starlight, entrants can see how they measure up against ‘iron-housemaid’ Elizabeth Seeley – who’s made an estimated 20 000 beds heavenly during her time at the hotel. The fastest & neatest entrant in the bed-making competition will be rewarded with a heavenly getaway at The Westin Melbourne. For those not prepared to take the challenge, a small donation to Starlight can see them take home a complete Heavenly® Bed ensemble and linen valued at over $4000.
Guests are able to experience the famous beds for themselves by booking The Westin Melbourne’s Heavenly Linen Package. An overnight stay at the award winning hotel together with a gourmet buffet breakfast for two is matched with a plush Heavenly linen set to take home, valued at over $700. The Heavenly Linen Package starts from $515 per night and is valid until December 30, 2009.
Meanwhile, the hotel’s Allegro Restaurant is also joining the celebrations by awarding patrons making online reservations with the chance to win a complete Heavenly® Bed package valued at over $4000. Diners who make a lunch or dinner booking before September 30 could get lucky by winning a complete Heavenly® Bed queen sized ensemble plus entire Heavenly linen range.
