What would you do?
You have been looking to take a family holiday in Fiji with kids for the next school holiday break and you discover when you are planning that you could save up to $2,000 plus on the total cost just for taking the holiday in the middle of school term.
It does astound me that some people will put a pina colado cocktail by the pool ahead of their own child’s education.
So what would you do? Would you choose the Pina over the Education.
Tips to save a little on booking family holidays
- Book Early try and book your family holiday well in advance
- Take off the day before the school breaks or return one day late. (I know it breaks the rules, but its not taking a break for a week or more in the middle of term.
- Be flexible on your destination or type of holiday. If its just outside of the budget, look for other destinations or types of holiday. Trade the fluffy pillows for tents in the outback!
